Should there be a background to the site?

I enjoy backgrounds with patterns on them, just catches my eye.

So shall we do small stripped pattern?

Well SONIC, I need some help from some graphic designer... I can't do much without one.

Well one example is already a background on the forum right now.

Speaking of the upvote system, we also need to fix it some. I know I've suggested it in the first place a while back, however it's so lazily done that Ratchet was the first person besides myself I've seen use it.

Perhaps we could make the number of upvotes/downvotes more visible, and at the bottom left of the screen? A larger, actual number instead of a meter, with the plus and minus signs next to it.
