F.E.A.R Fonts

I decided to make this forum, as alot of people are asking what font the F.E.A.R things are written in.

The cool and amazing font has two names,Colony Wars, and Optic.

It can be retrieved from http://www.dafont.com/ and is called 'Optic' there. The link is at the end.

They are the exact same font, and the file name is Optic. Once the file has been installed, open your fonts folder. This can be found in varying places, depending on your computer and Operating System (OS).

Once found, click and drag, or cut/pate or copy/paste the file into the fonts folder. If the Optic file is within a compressed (zipped) folder, or an unzipped fodler, then extract it or remove it, and place it in the Fonts folder in the same way that other fonts are placed there.

Once you are finished, you will be able to use the new font on all programs that you have installed, or will download in the future.

I'm reluctant. I always think when I download or buy things; "It might be a scam!" or "There could be a virus, eek!"

Nope. Dafont is safe. I use it alot. I even used a font from their in my siggy!

Yeah, Dafont is safe. I downloaded it, STHXX downloaded it, so have many other people. A virus can't be hiding within the font, because A: It is almost impossible to do anyway, and B: your antivirus will have detected it, or C: Dafont's own systems will have seen and deleted it.

Plus, how can it be a scam when you aren't giving anything in the first palce? Just click download :/

If you're too lazy to do all the hard work of installing the fonts, I recommend WinRAR to easily open the file and get to the TrueFont installer and install that fine Optic font used for the FEAR Forums!
