Let's begin with the basics. Both the First Encounter Assault Recon and the Roblox Assault Team have unique and very different accouterments. Each of these clans worked to build their respective differences, and each of these clans can utilize them to the best of their abilities.

The Roblox Assault Team has surpassed the First Encounter Assault Recon in the number of members, however my concern is that FEAR are not using these skills to the potential that they CAN use with a little bit of dedication and pushing.

FEAR has been the cynosure of the clan world and the groups page for quite some time, and this is a record that should be kept and maintained. While it is good to be ebullient when it comes to solving problems, it is important to keep an open and optimistic mind. Stay realistic.

FEAR is idiosyncratic to SONIC, and this is something that should be maintained. However this document will explain some ideas for solving the problems that FEAR are facing. Whether you'd like to admit to these problems or not, they have been pointed out too many times by the community. Right now, RAT are celebrating their victory. This is not a bad thing, as I will later point out.

FEAR need to act perspicacious with this, and move on from it. It is a title that can be earned back with some effort, dedication and perseverance will be required, and this will not come easy.

[2] PROBLEM ASSESSMENT

So, there is more than ONE problem. The main problem is obviously the fact that FEAR have lost a very prestigious position that made them the clan that they are, however there are more assets that make FEAR such a unique and versatile clan. Not only their history and extremely cohesive coordination, but their amazing ability to bounce back from attacks, to overcome enemies and to be a resilient team of optimistic and intelligent soldiers.

From my point of view, and the perspective that I have from my rank. I'm simply a Recruit, however as an Ex-Operative and almost a member of Armacham, I've learnt quite a lot from FEAR Over time, I've made friends with old High Ranks, I've seen the inside, the outside, the middle, I've seen trainings, raids and the overwhelmingly intuitive community.

FEAR have a lot more to offer than just our high member count, and this is something that we need to focus on a lot more. A functional team of trainers with multiple trainings per day, multiple raids happening throughout the week and clarity within the clan for the members will benefit us in this field.

Our activity is another problem that I see to be very serious. This is a problem that can lead to the easy downfall is a clan, and is definitely not advantageous, especially in any sort of war that could further damage our Public Relations epidemic.

Whether the current High Command wish to accept these problems or not, they are alive, they are growing, and people are beginning to notice them. The best time to solve a problem, cure a disease or make a move on a situation is as soon as it is noticed. Get on top of it, and close the gap before it becomes a sinkhole.

[3] RAT ASSESSMENT

The Roblox Assault team hold a useful set of qualities that they can and will use to their advantage. These are the qualities that the clan world are looking for, and these are qualities that any clan can earn, replicate or change.

#1 The Roblox Assault Team have an array of mind-blowing technology. Technology is something that we need to get on top of, having one developer per department is not going to get a major fort done in a month, and we need to look at sustainable ideas for development.

#2 The Roblox Assault Team have an impressive activity ratio. With multiple trainings and raids happening, FEAR is a large clan of competent leaders. We need to have an efficient training base that can be used by all trainers, trainings should be held as often as possible. The soldiers need to know that there ARE events to be attending.

#3 The Roblox Assault Team have a number of ongoing wars. This is something that FEAR should continue with. Boost wars with trainings and raids, this will help build a strong community at our call to defend or attack with us.

#4 The Roblox Assault Team have an efficient and cohesive High Command, the FEAR High Command is going strong, however I feel that more transparency, clarity and contact would be a useful quality.

As well as the Roblox Assault Team (RAT), FEAR also have a number of qualities that we can begin to use to our advantage. These will not only help us gain members, publicity and a name for ourselves, but will build a strong and cohesive community.

#1 Multiple games that are popular, these should be maintained. We can grow members and a community from these games.

#2 A massive community. We simply need to create more events to encourage them to begin attending to earn new ranks. The Promotion system may also need to be looked over for a more efficient system that we can easily track.

#3 A cohesive High Command of skilled leaders. We can utilize these amazing leaders to the best of our ability, have them encourage trainings, chose mentors, train them to be the future leaders and continue to show FEAR to a strong and enlightening path.

#4 A community READY TO WORK. People on the wall constantly talk and ask for events. They are ready to rumble and get into the swing of things.

All of these assets can be used to create a strong community, a strong reputation, a name for ourselves and to reclaim our position on top. It will also greatly benefit our activity.

[5] COMPARISON ASSESSMENT

As I mentioned earlier, both the First Encounter Assault Recon and the Roblox Assault Team have a unique and differentiating array of skills. However, I feel it is important to compare the differences between the clans so as we can see what we need to tune into, what we need to focus on, and what we're up against. Strategies will be provided for these in the other section.

I've already made note of the technology that RAT have, and this is an important issue that FEAR need to get on top of. One developer for each section is not good enough. They may be the best of the best, however we need to appoint leaders for each department and have them work closely with their employees. Finishing a base in a year is not good enough for a superclan.

The technology that RAT have compared to us is a main training facility. FEAR need to develop one of these, whether it be simulation or not, trainers need to know where to go and soldiers need to get used to training in the same environment. This is an important issue that should be resolved as soon as possible, it will lead to more activity when training.

RAT also have a mainframe/database or what they call the InfoCentre, this keeps log of all of the data for each member and is a promotion system used by many, many clans. A promotion system similar to this would be good for FEAR, so as trainers can keep logs of members, their behavior, rewards and ranks. Having a system set in stone that works will encourage members to train more and attend events for a higher chance to be promoted.

FEAR have a large and strong community ready to work, this is something we NEED to use as soon as possible before people begin to lose interest. Our activity is like the trunk of issues, if you will. Once we plant the trunk, the branches will grow. The trunk will lead to solving the other issues, such as our leaderboard position.

[6] STRATEGIES

So, rather than provide empty problems without solutions, I thought it'd be a good idea to provide some drafted ideas here:

TECHNOLOGY/DEVELOPMENT:
We need a strong system in place, department heads for Building, Media and Scripting who manage those within their department. 3-5 people per department would lead to projects being sped up and other developers to assist with the work load and different parts of technology when others are on breaks.

ACTIVITY:
This is something we need to get on top of immediately. This issue will become detrimental to the future of FEAR. We have soldiers wanting to work, ready to work. We do host trainings, raids and events, however we need to host multiple events each and every day. We need to encourage attendance.

PROMOTIONS:
This isn't a MAJOR issue, however it may help with our activity. A system like a mainframe of recording points to go towards promotions encourages members to attend to earn more points, therefore increasing their changes of a promotion. FEAR have far too many Recruits and Privates wondering what to do.

REPUTATION:
Our reputation is quite strong, however it is slowly beginning to decrease. We need to get on top of our issues, have clarity within the forums and create an optimistic and intelligent environment. We need to give the clan world something to see, something to admire and most importantly, other clans something to desire.

These strategies are drafts, and I wrote them up quickly, so I can write separate and more extensive posts for each of them if necessary.

Public Relations, referring to our reputation on the forums and within the community is not a major issue, but a point that we should be aware of and stay on top of. Whether you were to appoint a Head of Public Relations, or Head of Community Management or a position that can manage and speak to the clans (such as External Affairs but mainly directed at forums) would assist in this.

It's important to stay transparent and show clarity within the clan. Reply to threads about FEAR, and show the community that we have people who are actively monitoring and replying to issues, questions, feedback, comments and concerns. This shows that we WANT to be heard, that we are active and that we want to listen to them to better ourselves.

We need someone mature to handle the flame, someone to refute arguments and someone to steer FEAR members into the right direction on the forums. Our reputation will ultimately affect alliances and the influx of new members. If people read negative comments about FEAR, they're not going to be too keen to join.

This is not a problem that FEAR seem to be having, however it is starting to open up with a lack of reply to FEAR related threads, and a lack of FEAR posting on the forums with official announcements and things related to that. This is something we should be aware of.

[8] MARKETING

Marketing, or on ROBLOX, running ads is something that the Roblox Assault Team have utilized extremely well. Through donations from 'Berezaa' who created a number of popular titles with a massive influx of ROBUX created a ton of ads around the community. This helps them stay active and appear to be alive.

FEAR need to collect money and basically "ad bomb" ROBLOX. This means to run an extensive amount of ads for a certain period of time. We can focus on the idea of FEAR being reborn into a new generation, coming back from the dead, reclaiming our title or any inspirational/motivational/threatening marketing method that will ultimately recruit members and intimidate other clans.

Whether we work on creating more games that fund us, or we collect donations from members willing to help (there are quite a few, including myself). We will have enough to be able to run a lot of ads and gain quite a few members. The important part of the ads is NOT to gain members, but to send a message to the community.

[9] TECHNOLOGY

I've spoken about this a magnitude of times in this document, so I'm going to keep this section quite short.

We need to get on top of technology quickly. Our fort is decent and can be maintained for now, however a training centre is desperately required, this way all trainers will have a global place for trainings so as there is no confusion. This will also assist members in getting to know a certain environment for their trainings.

An advancement course (like Volcano Hills) is also a good idea. A rebirth to this, or a completely new and futuristic approach will help with the influx of new members. Earning your first promotion almost immediately depending on your enthusiasm is a wonderful feeling and is something that keeps people sticking around.

Expanding ATC is a great way of creating more places. If you wish to keep ATC an exclusive environment, another, less exclusive development group can be created, such as the ATC Academy which will end up being a child division of ATC.

[10] ACTIVITY

Again, this is an issue I've bought up multiple times and provided a few solutions for. We have an eager community of soldiers who are ready to work and ready to get into the environment of FEAR. They want to get into combat and learn how we work, make friends and earn promotions.

It's all well and good to say "host more events", which is what I have said, however we need to encourage the High Command and the other High Ranks to get into hosting events. Host with friends from the HCOM, encourage members and have some fun with the events.

One training a day is not good enough for such a large clan. We should be having 1-3 during the week, and 3-5 on the weekends. Making sure these are held in different time zones is another important thing so as all members have the opportunity to attend.

If we begin with stepping up events, shouts, and even a newsletter or some form of transparency, we should see activity climb at an alarming rate.

[11] FINAL NOTES

* We have an eager community. We need to stay optimistic and open minded, work with them, speak to them and treat them like we would treat any rank. Make them feel welcome and special.

* We need to focus heavily on development and a training place.

* Activity will need to spark before our numbers will majorly climb. Activity will spark a reputation change and marketing potentials.
